Zcash mining uses Equihash-focused hardware. The Dashboard separates mined ZEC, claimed ZEC and converted BTC records.

Network-specific hardware

Equihash miners are built for ZEC workloads

Zcash mining requires hardware compatible with the network’s Equihash proof-of-work design. MineHarbor keeps ZEC products separate from SHA-256 Bitcoin miners so hashrate units, machine models and expected operating characteristics are not confused.

Correct algorithmOnly compatible ZEC hardware is presented in the Zcash mining route.
Relevant hashrate unitsZEC performance is displayed in units appropriate to its hardware and algorithm.
Dedicated DashboardActive ZEC miners and reward history stay in the ZEC section.
Reward visibility

Follow mined, claimable and converted values

The ZEC Dashboard presents total mined ZEC, total claimed ZEC and current claimable reward. When an eligible claim is processed, the account also records the BTC value credited through conversion, preserving a clear distinction between mining output and wallet settlement.

Claim conditionsThe minimum claim requirement is visible next to the claimable reward.
Daily historyReward history helps users understand how reported output changes over time.
BTC creditConverted BTC is reflected in the BTC mining wallet after a successful claim.
Network events

Difficulty and halvings matter

Zcash network events can change mining economics. Difficulty reflects competition for new blocks, while scheduled halvings reduce the block subsidy according to network rules. These variables, together with asset prices, uptime and fees, can change expected output during a rental period.

DifficultyHigher network difficulty can reduce expected output for the same hashrate.
Halving scheduleBlock reward changes alter the amount of new ZEC distributed to miners.
No fixed returnDisplayed estimates remain projections, not promises of future earnings.
Common questions

Can a Bitcoin ASIC mine Zcash?+

Not generally. Bitcoin uses SHA-256, while Zcash mining requires compatible Equihash hardware.

Why does the ZEC Dashboard show BTC?+

Mining output is tracked in ZEC, while eligible claimed value can be converted and credited to the BTC mining wallet.

What can change ZEC rewards?+

Network difficulty, block timing, halvings, equipment availability, fees and market prices can all affect results.
